How you access your GP surgery has changed - please watch this short video which explains how you can access services.
For Routine Appointments / Contact with the surgery
First contact with the GP surgery should be made by telephone. Your enquiry will initially be taken by an experienced Receptionist who will triage your enquiry. The receptionist will then determine the correct NHS professional to deal with your enquiry. This may be a GP, Practice Nurse, Physiotherapist, Medical secretary or a member of our Administration team.
A telephone or video appointment will then be made with the most appropriate professional. They will contact you to determine whether the issue can be dealt with remotely or whether a face to face appointment is required.
econsult - is for non urgent medical advice you can use this 24/7. You will receive a reply by the end of the next working day.

What you need to do to get a certificate of vaccination for international travel.
How to request a certificate if required for urgent travel
Request a certificate only if:
- you have had both doses of the COVID-19 vaccine (you should wait 5 days after your second dose before requesting it)
- you urgently need to travel to a country which requires vaccine certification
- you are not able to either quarantine or provide tests to meet country entry requirements
Call 0300 303 5667 to request a vaccination certificate for essential international travel.
It can take up to 10 working days for a certificate to arrive. No requests can be fast tracked and certificates cannot be collected.
You can call 7 days a week between 9am and 5pm.
Calls from landlines are typically charged between 2p and 10p per minute. Calls from mobiles typically cost between 10p and 40p per minute. Calls from landlines and mobiles are included in free call packages.
We are working on a digital option for Welsh citizens to show their vaccination status. This will be available shortly.
If you have not been fully vaccinated
Children cannot get COVID-19 vaccination status, as they are not currently being vaccinated.
If you’re travelling abroad you may need to show proof of a COVID-19 test.

SHARING PATIENTS DATA - PLEASE READ
Following the announcement by NHS Digital about the changes being introduced in England to the way that GP-held patient records are being collected and held centrally, and the subsequent media attention it has received, this written statement provides details about what is happening in terms of sharing health records in Wales.
To be very clear, the proposal reported in the media to collect data from GPs applies only in England. NHS Digital does not have any authority or responsibility in Wales. However, Welsh residents who are or have previously been registered with GPs in England will need to opt out by 23 June if they do not want their data to be included. Holiday Cancellations - Coronavirus (COVID-19)
The practice is not required to complete holiday cancellation forms or provide Fit Notes for patients wishing to cancel their holiday due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19). If the UK Government's Foreign Office has advised against travel then you should speak to your travel agent or insurer.

The three town practices offer the e-Consult facility.
eConsult enables NHS based GP practices to offer online consultations to their patients. This allows patients to submit their symptoms or requests to their own GP electronically and offers around the clock NHS self-help information, signposting to services, and a symptom checker.
eConsult is the most widely used digital triage tool in NHS primary care, built by NHS GPs for NHS patients, designed to enhance patient access, improve practice efficiencies and signpost patients to the right place at the right time for their care.
The practices have taken the difficult decision to suspend all routine appointments and are asking all patients to pre-book appointments if required. Patients are asked to ring the practice in the first instance and will be signposted to the most appropriate treatment.
The practice will still be offering clinical need appointments and telephone triage. Patients will be asked to outside when they arrive for their appointment and not in the practice waiting room. Patients will be asked to wear a mask when entering the building to see a clinician and the clinician will also be wearing a mask during your appointment.
If you are not able to send an email or have not signed up for My Health Online, prescription requests will need to be left in the prescription box outside, this can found to right hand side of the building at the rear entrance door.

There are full facilities within the surgery including a specially equipped toilet. All of our consulting rooms are located on the ground floor.
